These are a few jobs, But there are more jobs that you can apply for according to your skills. However, Wikipedia says that IT is the use of computers to create, process, store, retrieve, and exchange all kinds of data and information.
However, IT represents any kind of computer-based activity. Let's take a few examples.
Example 1: Developing software
To do that, we use programming language. After making software we can use it for our wants. The software can be used on windows OS (Operating System) based apps, Mac OS-based apps, and Linux OS-based apps, and also can be used in any kind of mobile application (app). So, we can use a different programming language like Java, Python, C#, C++, and etc. We can also build a web application in developing software fields.
Example 2: Computer Hardware
If your computer (desktop or laptop) is getting errors like the computer is not turning on or not getting display. So you probably need a computer technician's help to fix the problem. Because that computer needs to be checked all hardware components like Power supply, RAM (Random Access Memory), Network card, CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor) battery, cables (Power and data) and etc.
Example 3: Computer Network
If you have seen a computer laboratory, there should have a computer network in it. The network can be LAN (Local Area Network) or WAN (Wide Area Network). We use network devices like switches, routers, hubs, and use connections like copper straight-through, copper cross-over, fibre, coaxial, and etc to build a computer network basically.
In this explanation, we clearly understand that we need IT not only to get a good job but also for its need in day to day for anyone. It doesn't matter if you are an IT guy or not.
